Area Sales Representative

Immediate opening available for a hardworking, motivated sales representative to help us grow our business.  We are seeking a committment-oriented outside sale representative with a strong sense of building relationships with potential and existing customers. 

Two open areas are in the Southeast and the Northeast.

As a sale representative, you will be part of a well-trained sales organization.  Armed with in-house and field training, you will be selling business to business, and through distribution channels.  You will generate new business in assigned territories through prospecting, cold calling, networking and generating leads.  You will make contact with key players, and conduct the sales process from the early stages through to closing.

Job Requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

 Lead all sales activities to grow the business
 Accountability for sales and margin growth to achieve annual sales quotas and margin goals of one line of product
 Ability to prepare proposals and consult on solutions, to service customer and develop accounts
 Report to management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects.
 Professional, creative, and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels
 Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
 Experienced of 2 years in successful business-to-business selling, preferably in the hospitality industry
 Ability to identify critical issues for successful business and to remove road blocks and resolve issues,
 Customer focused and result-oriented person with some basic knowledge of the hospitality or building/construction industry
 College or Bachelor degree in a related discipline (sales or marketing, etc.)
 Impeccable organizational and time management skills
 Computer literate with technical aptitude
 Travel requirement – up to 50%
