Supply Chain Planner

Vossloh is in a favourable position with good demand for its products and services. The railway industry is facing major investments and is seen as an industry of the future in the effort to achieve climate-neutral transport. We are now looking for a new Supply Chain Planner for our site in Ystad.

As a Supply chain planner, you are responsible for planning and ensuring deliveries to customers within the time frame 3-36 months, delivery times, MPS, forecast work, and monthly meetings with internal suppliers / customers. Participate in projects as a resource to ensure deliveries and highlight any risks and challenges in the supply chain. In addition, tactical planning, production scheduling in the ERP system, SAP development, and working capital measures to effectively manage production and deliveries over time.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in logistics or equivalent experience
  • Good language skills in Swedish and English
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with ERP systems and SAP
  • Knowledge and experience of material and capacity planning and detailed planning
  • Experience with MPS - master planning schedule
  • Work in similar organisations (advantageous)
  • Worked in a similar role before (advantageous)
  • Other languages can be advantageous, e.g. German and French (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of railway switches and railway switch manufacturing (advantageous).

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of six people, half of whom are operational buyers and the rest are supply chain detail planners. You will enter the role of lead planner and your main focus will be on forecasting and production support.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for MPS
  • To follow up targets for delivery precision to customers and in case of deviation drive and manage actions
  • Responsible for forecasts 3-36 months and to develop different production scenarios based on the proposed forecast.
  • Be able to run activities and improvement projects to highlight any risks and measures on plans from 3-36 months.
  • Responsible for running monthly meetings with IC (Inter company) suppliers/customers.
  • To establish pace plans so that personnel and production equipment are efficiently utilised and that delivery reliability and capital commitment targets are met in the 3-36 month horizon.
  • To participate in quotation work and develop delivery times for quotations within the horizon of 3-36 months.
  • To plan production 12-52 weeks ahead in the ERP system based on customer needs and agreed forecast.
  • Participate in project meetings and be the representative for planning and operational purchasing to ensure supply and forecast.
  • To participate in escalation meetings for deliveries and to actively drive measures so that delivery time is met in cooperation with detailed planning.
  • Participate in the development of processes in SAP.
  • Be able to provide a basis for in/outsource decisions on products based on capacity, availability and cost.Perform parameterisation and maintain basic data in the ERP system at item level.
  • Drive working capital actions according to defined guidelines.
