What we’re looking for 

As part of this role, you will be focused business developer or sales professional who enjoys operating in an early-stage dynamic environment and embraces - and wants to play a key role in  - the digital transformation revolution in the maritime sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and winning technology and innovation advisory engagements in maritime as well as paid-for participation in our  innovation labs and programmes.

After experiencing rapid growth and market successes, we are now offering the opportunity for a Senior Sales / Market Development manager to join our growing team.

   The role 

  • Increasing business revenue by  sourcing, curating, and progressing new client engagement opportunities
  • Building strategic relationships with  existing and new maritime  clients in the shipping, ports, and offshore sectors
  • Designing and executing sales campaigns based on current trends and proven demand for emerging technology and innovation in the maritime sector.
  • Developing creative sales decks and delivering compelling pitches/proposals based on clients’ needs.
  • Guiding clients to realise opportunities for accelerating their adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Advocating the benefit of what we do in professional communities and the media.

 

 

 

What you bring 

  • Strong commercial sense  and expertise.
  • Proven track record of originating and selling consulting engagements in maritime space, preferably around technology.
  • Strong consultative selling approach and client-focussed mindset.
  • Extensive pre-exiting personal network of existing contacts at mid-to-senior level in the shipping, ports, and offshore markets.
  • Good knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, problems, and solutions in maritime market 
  • Ability to thrive in an autonomous, delivery-focused environment.
