The role in a nutshell:
- Drive the development of our salesforce, field service, and marketing capabilities across Fresenius Kabi’s business units
- Work closely with regional and local business unit leaders, and external vendors to design and implement effective sales, service, and marketing training programs, skills development programs, and competency models that align with our business strategy and customer needs.

Your main assignments
- Conduct needs assessment and gap analysis across regions and business-specific to identify the current and future skills and competencies required for our sales, service, and marketing teams to succeed in a competitive and dynamic market.
- Develop a global standard process for sales, field service, and marketing training strategy and roadmap that covers all aspects of commercial skills development, such as product knowledge, selling, key account management, negotiation, service, marketing, digital tools, compliance, and ethics.
- Design and deliver engaging and impactful customer-facing skills training programs, using a variety of modalities, such as e-learning, classroom, virtual, on-the-job, coaching, and mentoring.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of the commercial skills training programs and initiatives, using appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms.
- Create and maintain a common competency framework that defines the expected behaviors and outcomes for different commercial roles and levels.
- Establish and manage a company-wide commercial skills certification program that validates the skills and competencies of our sales, service, and marketing roles and provides recognition and career development opportunities.
- Manage the global commercial training capabilities budget and ensuring optimal allocation of resources and alignment with business priorities, and provide guidance to regions and market units.
- Build and lead a network of regional and local trainers and coaches who can support the delivery and reinforcement of commercial training programs and “train-the-trainer” initiatives.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in salesforce training and development and introduce innovative and relevant solutions to enhance our commercial capabilities.
Your profile
- 10+ years of professional experience in Pharma/ Life Science industry, preferably in strategic and business-oriented roles
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering salesforce and field service training programs, skills development programs, and competency models, preferably in a global role. In-depth knowledge of B2B sales processes and systems, e.g. CRM, CPQ.
- A master’s degree or equivalent in business, education, psychology, or a related field. A certification in salesforce training and development is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Profound project management and stakeholder management skills
- Independent, process- and result-oriented way of working
- Relevant experiences from having worked and lived abroad
- Fluency in the English language is required, any additional languages are an advantage
- Intercultural experience and willingness to travel internationally
