Summer Engineering Intern

Where we need you

The Engineering Intern works with current process engineers at both facilities on projects and daily tasks learning the fundamentals of engineering within a live manufacturing setting. Creating charts, simple CAD drawings, learning the manufacturing process, and data analysis.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering program.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in 2D and 3D CAD modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to have hands-on experience.
  • Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Vocational or high school graduate with engineering background.
  • Current Community College/University student in an accredited engineering program.
  • Engineering related experience in a manufacturing setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
  • Interpret technical drawings.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to calculate simple math equations and problems.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Teamwork skills
  • Hard-working
