dormakaba is hiring a Door Technician in Columbia, MD. Some of the job responsibilities and requirements are:

• Servicing customer equipment (doors, frames, etc) in a safe manner, within company standards, and to the customers’ ongoing satisfaction
• Projecting a Customer Service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and effective communication with all customers.
• Maintaining accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data.
• Managing assigned parts and consumable stocks effectively.
• Communicating with Sales and Service management about customer complaints and sales opportunities

• Technical aptitude - prefer candidates with some job experience that required technical skills; knowledge and understanding of power and hand tools to complete required service and repair tasks.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds over the shoulder
• Valid Driver’s license.  Must be able to travel independently throughout territory with company-provided van.
• Electrical license, AAADM certification and/or carpentry skills desirable but not required
