Aufgabenfeld

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT BASED  ON EN50126 (and its dependencies)

  • Identifying the safetyrequirements of the system  under development or operation and ensuring that they are implemented
  • Assessing the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safetyof the system  and developing appropriate strategies for improving them
  • Analyzing the system  performance to identify and mitigate any potential hazards
  • Developing and implementing RAMS plans and processes to ensure compliance with

EN50126 standard

  • Reviewing and updating RAMS documentation such as hazard logs, safetycases, reliability reports, and maintenance manuals
  • Conducting RAMS analysis activities, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), and Event Tree Analysis (ETA)
  • Providing technical guidance to the design and development team to ensure that the systemor equipment is designed to meet  the safety  and reliability requirements
  • Coordinating with other stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and regulatorybodies to ensure that the RAMS requirements are met
  • Respect timing of the Functional Safety activities in the product  development phase
  • Working cross-functionally with System team, Cybersecurity Team,Software  team, Hardware team an
  • Validation team to ensure compliance to Functional Safety standards

 

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT BASED  ON OTHER STANDARD

  • Depending on customer awards, abovementioned RAMS activities could  be extended to applications requiring appliance of different standard than EN50126 (support will be provided to clarify processes and methodologies accordingly)

 

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT

  • Develop our client’s knowledge on RAMS for Railway application and consistently with other applications following ISO26262 standards
  • Extend Functional Safety Processes, Methodologies and Deliverables according Railway standards
  • Participate to the RAMS integration into Corporate  Program Management Office
  • Formalize & maintain relevant know-how, for the capitalization of knowledge within the company

Anforderungsprofil

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or demonstrable international equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical/Safety
  • Industry experience with mechatronic systems development
  • 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience (Railway experience is an advantage)
  • Experience in safety  standards  such as EN50126, EN50657, and EN50129 is a must
  • Ability to identify potential hazards, analyzerisks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of safetytools (SG, HARA, FSC,  TSC,  Safety Plan, DFMEA,  FMEDA, FTA, …)
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well in other units, customers, and suppliers
  • Proactivity in communication and problem  solving
  • Capability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions to a non-technical audience
  • Automotive Functional Safety Certification by certification bodies (TÜV, UL…) is a strong plus Job Soft skills
  • Good  written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French is a strong plus
  • Ability to lead discussions with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and in multiple fields
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team-work spirit and independent working capability
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essentials for success in this role
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meetdepartment objectives within a timely manner
