About the job

We operate and innovate our B2B data analytics platform for the sports industry where operational decision-making is backed by data transparency and collaboration at the interface between retailers and brands. Our clients are both, sports retailers as well as sports brands. We deliver sustainable growth through data to both sides.

We do not believe in titles, but in providing a purpose and a mission for each of our colleagues. Your personal mission at emnos will be “to harness the power of data analytics and visualization for our business users from sports brands and retailers”.

This could be you:

  • We are looking for a combined role of a product manager, sales analyst and dashboard designer who can lead the content development and delivery of our sports analytics platform.
  • You will be responsible for defining the sports platform content roadmap, and features, as well as designing and implementing dashboards in YellowfinBI.
  • You will work closely with our engineering, data science, product management, and sales teams, as well as our clients and partners in the sports industry.
  • You will also conduct user research, testing, and feedback to ensure that our product meets the needs and expectations of our users and stakeholders.

 

Your daily tasks

  • Define and communicate the product roadmap, and features, and align them with the company and product goals and strategy
  • Bridge the gap between our product management and our data team
  • Design and develop standardized dashboards that exploit the data and analytics capabilities of our platform and team, to provide actionable insights and recommendations to our users
  • Collaborate with the engineering, data science, product management, and sales teams
  • Engage with our clients and partners in the sports industry, and understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and how our product can address them
  • Conduct user research, testing, and feedback, and incorporate the user feedback and data into the product development and improvement
  • Measure and evaluate the product performance, user satisfaction, and business impact, and identify and prioritize the product enhancements and opportunities

Your skillset & experiences

  • At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: product management, dashboard design, BI analytics, Sales analytics, preferably in the sports industry (brand or retailer) or a related domain
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sports data, analytics, and metrics, and how they can be used to drive decision making and performance improvement
  • Proficient in using data visualization tools and frameworks, such as YellowfinBI, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into clear and compelling stories and recommendations
  • Experience in conducting user research, testing, and feedback, and applying user-centric design principles and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • You are totally comfortable to work, write and speak in English. Any skills in German or French are a big plus!
