Business Development Manager - Industry

As a distributor of A-brands, the organization distinguishes itself through a continuous focus on innovation and understanding the needs of end users. This results in the development of shoes that are functional and comfortable on the one hand, but also look modern and sporty. Its aim is to grow in the European market and in this goal they are driven by innovation, internationalization and sustainability.

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding strategic partnerships and building new client relations with end users. You will ensure the realization of additional business within existing customer groups, as well as in new segments at a national level. Innovation is an important part of the organization's marketing, and the Business Development Manager is expected to use innovations to create new market opportunities and translate them into realization. Furthermore, in this position you collect relevant market information for shaping marketing, general management and the innovation pipeline.

Concretely, the tasks and responsibilities of the BDM include:
- Relationship management within the selected channels, customer groups and with strategic partners;
- Establishing contact with major end users;
Research of market opportunities;
- Positioning innovations in various segments;
- Proactively indicating opportunities and threats at customer and/or chain level;
- Collecting and correctly reporting market data;
- Registering and reporting using CRM system;
- Drawing up and implementing annual action plans.

In addition, you are expected to be a full-fledged conversation partner for our strategic partners.
Naturally, you will not face these challenges alone, but you will work intensively with your colleagues and the partners.

Profil

" Completed Bachelor's degree
" At least 3 years of work experience with proven results in a commercial position
" Experience with new business development (cold acquisition, hunting)
" Experience with consultative and concept selling methodologies
" Experience with independently conducting contract negotiation discussions
" Experience towards Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) specialists and/or end users
" Experience with national and/or private tenders is an advantage
